Baking for Christmas

Alex building his gingerbread house.  This year we found a kit with 5 little houses, so everyone gets to make their own!

I think Casey gets all that icing on her fingers on purpose...

Putting the village together.  The fifth house was built by all 3 kids together - and they had a blast!

That fifth house, over on the left, is on fire, and there is a little fire truck with teddy graham fireman tending to it!

And Amanda made Spock and a bell with the Starship Enterprise on it...

And Amanda made a cookie with space agencies on it (the start) and a NASA tree, and 3 little circles making the Earth and an eclipse.  Thinking she's not getting that these are Christmas cookies...

Spock cookie was actually sprayed with lacquer and framed for Amanda to take back to school with her!  Bet she's the only student at U of I with a framed Spock cookie...

Since Amanda made Napoleon Bonaparte, Alex decided to make Napoleon Dynamite!
