Alex Plays Baseball

It's that time of year when our family gets into baseball!  Curt is coaching Alex's team again (and helping out with Casey's team a lot as well!) and here you see a team picture with only 4 boys missing.  Alex is in the center back - I think you can tell which coach is Curt.  Alex has really gotten around the field this year - both with positions and running the bases!  He has played catcher, shortstop, pitcher, and 1st base and his hitting has really improved - he can now hit a legitimate triple and has done so several times this season!  These pictures are all from a double header we played recently.  At one point during the day, Alex came up to us and told us his cleats were hurting his feet (another pair of shoes outgrown!) so Curt had to take his off and give them to Alex so he could keep playing!  Curt takes his to wear when we play on grass/dirt - not anymore since he doesn't have any now!  We keep saying that someday Alex will grow into those feet....
