On 3 March 2007 we had a lunar eclipse fully available over our home here in Europe. During totality the moon actually appeared to be bright red. Luckily enough we even had fairly clear skies most of the night so we were able to view the whole moon. Here are some pictures of the eclipse, as well as a schedule of when it happened.
